This beautiful
studio apartment is located in the center of Moscow
on the Garden Ring between ulitsa Karetny Ryad and ul. Tverskaya,
the main route from Red Square to Sheremetyevo airport.
It's between the historic and beautiful Metro Mayakovskaya
where Stalin held many rallies and meetings during World
War II and Metro Tsvetnoy Bulvar, which is near the Old
Moscow Circus.
The apartment itself is located
on the seventh floor of a historic, eleven story
building, which during Soviet times was dedicated to housing
the performers from the Bolshoi Theater. This
air conditioned, studio apartment just completed
a full renovation. Every appliance, including the washer/dryer,
fully equipped kitchen and all furnishings were brand new
as
of May, 2005.
As you enter the apartment, you'll
immediately notice the new
hardwood parquet floor and the large windows and
balcony with a view over the Garden Ring and the Northern
part of Moscow.
The apartment is fully equipped
for your comfort with both a sofa sleeper and a large
bed. The complete audio-visual package includes a large
TV with Kosmos TV which includes every foreign language
station available in Moscow, along with a DVD/CD player
and stereo. The apartment even has a PC with a Hi-Speed
Internet connection for your use, if you choose. Of course,
the apartment is fitted with a personal safe to help protect
your valuables during your stay.
 The
cozy marble bathroom has a heated towel rack and
a tub with a shower.
There are many restaurants and clubs
in the nearby area, as well as several supermarkets
and the metros are within easy walking distance. Just to
name a few of the nearby restaurants, you'll find The American
Grill, Starlight Diner, Il Patio, Zin (an upscale wine bar/restaurant),
SunSet and Pekin. At the same time, it's only a short walk
from the apartment to the Pushkin Square area with its many
restaurants and clubs. Just a few steps away, the Mayakovskaya
metro is only two stops from Red Square and the Bolshoi
Theater or the Tsvetnoy Bulvar metro is only two stops away
from the Arbat/Old Arbat area. The Kremlin, Bolshoi Theater,
Arbat, Red Square and the entire city is accessible in only
a few minutes from the apartment.
The entrance is a typical Russian
entry and is clean, but it's scheduled to be remodeled
in the very near future.
