This air-conditioned apartment is the
former home of the owner. The building is located
in a quiet residential area, and the apartment is well-equipped,
very cozy, and within reasonable walking distance to four
metro stations.
There is a variety of good restaurants
and clubs - Makaroni, Marios, Cru, Rioni, Correa's,
16 Tons, Voodoo Lounge, Dirty Dancing, The Real McCoy, John
Bull Pub and many others - within a very short walk. The
apartment is also located close to the Moscow Zoological
Park, and is well suited for either long-term or short-term
rentals.
 All
rooms look out on what the locals call… "The Castle",
which is the largest Catholic Church in all of Russia. It
is a beautiful old brick cathedral with a rich history,
and it also serves as a concert hall featuring organ recitals,
choirs and famous singers. Additionally, the noon-time chorus
of bells adds a special touch of local color to your day.
In the summer, the apartment
is shaded with trees just outside the window. In the winter,
you are able to watch the snow fall on the cathedral and
the bare trees.
The entryway provides storage for
shoes and a coat rack. The hall closet offers convenient
storage and a personal safe for your use. These amenities
are especially nice if you plan to make this apartment your
home for the longer term.
The living room includes a sleeper
sofa and a large TV/home theater
system with surround sound.
In addition, it has a wall devoted completely to closet
space.
 The
bedroom is furnished with a wardroom, dresser, a
side table and a large bed. The bedroom also features a
TV and DVD player for those late-night-movie-in-the-bed
fans!
The kitchen is well-equipped
with a full oven, microwave, large refrigerator and dishwasher.
Of course, all of the normal small appliances - coffee maker,
electric teapot and toaster - are provided.
The tiled bathroom has a heated floor, which is
very nice during the cold winter months. In addition, the
bathroom is equipped with a heated towel rack and a washer/dryer
combo.
All in all, this apartment is in
a wonderful, private location away from the hustle
and bustle of the deep center of Moscow, and it begs you
to settle in and enjoy the privacy and comfort of your own
little Moscow "doma"!
