As at many international airports in the world, when you arrive
in Moscow and exit from Baggage Claim and Customs at one of the
two major international airports, Sheremetyevo,
SVO, terminal 1 or 2 or Domodedovo, DME, you may
have to fend off the taxi drivers competing for your business. BEWARE:
These taxies will charge as much as $150 or more for a trip into
the city.
The simple solution to this situation is to reserve the
AIRPORT TRANSFER PACKAGE, and when you arrive in
Moscow, you will be met by your personal driver
who will be waiting for you at the airport as you exit from Baggage
Claim and Customs. He’ll take charge of your luggage, and you’ll
be driven straight to your apartment in the center of Moscow.
If you choose to pre-order and pre-pay, your payment is fully
refundable as long as you cancel or change 24 hours or more (Moscow
Time) before your scheduled arrival time.
PLEASE NOTE: A $10-15 surcharge will be added to an arrival
transfer or a departure transfer that originates before 0700 (7:00
a.m.) or after 2200 (10:00 p.m.) local Moscow time, and for more
than one guest. Friday transfers (expect terrible traffic)
and other heavy traffic days (special events, holiday travel)
may also have this surcharge. In addition, if your inbound flight is delayed for
one hour or more, an additional $15 will be charged to pay for the
driver's time and parking during the delay.
